Workshops expose participants to a wide range of ideas and concepts in a more condensed period of time. While seminars do include some small group work and activities, they are more presentation-oriented than some of our other offerings.

Diversity Dynamics: Learn how to maximize the reward and benefit of inclusive environments. Typical seminars provide an overview of issues pertaining to race, gender identity, socioeconomic class, sexual orientation, age, and ability. Seminars can go into greater depth in any of these areas, or focus specifically on matters of difference of particular relevance to your organization or community. Seminars enable participants to engage more meaningfully and respectfully across difference and focus on creating organizational structures that are inclusive of different people, cultures, and ideas.

Leadership Styles: This seminar focuses on how different styles of leadership promote different types of interaction. Typical seminars explore a range of leadership styles, strategies, and philosophies, connecting each to the advantages and potential challenges they present for interaction in a range of community and organizational contexts.

Organizational Communication: Seminars are available that address a wide range of important communication skills: effective listening, presentation skills, information sharing, group decision-making, meeting facilitation, strategic planning and visioning, conflict resolution and more... If you have specific needs or concerns we're happy to develop customized seminars to meet your needs. Seminars can develop one of these topics in great detail, or can provide an overview of several communication issues pertinent to your community or organization.

Visioning and Productive Change: This seminar gives participants the tools and inspiration to imagine and create the community, organization, and world they wish to live in. By focusing on the best of what exists in a struggling system, participants are able to see new possibilities for their future and develop concrete strategies for creating a more effective and rewarding work and life experience.
